Do you remember the last time,
you told her,
that you miss her?
Because, I don't.
She gave us life,
and breath,
And yet in the daily chorus,
in phones and emails,
we forget.
Before, I spoke,
She knew I had something
to say,
May be a lot to say
and yet she didn't ask.
May be she kept it,
For another day,
May be she understood
without words being said,
as she always had.
Do you remember the last time,
you told her,
that you miss her?
Because, I don't.
Wherever I go,
I carry her in me,
She knows that in her heart,
And that is why she never complained.
